Sunday Morning Prayer
Every Sunday morning from 9:00 am - 9:30 am
At Mother Union American Methodist Episcopal Church, we believe that setting the spiritual atmosphere is important to our day worship. Our Sunday Prayer Service allows current members or newcomers to enter the sanctuary to pray. Some kneel at the altar, some sit in the pews and some may walk the floor in silent meditation. All while Christian music is playing in the background. It's a time or reflection in reverence to the presence of the Holy Spirit. A time to seek the Lord for direction, and to "get ready" for what God has in-store for us in Bible Study, in worship, and for the coarse of our lives.
Adult Bible Study
Every Sunday morning from 9:30 am - 10:30 am
At Mother Union American Methodist Episcopal Church we have moved our Adult Bible Study from Wednesday evening to Sunday morning. This Spirit lead move accommodates many who missed the Wednesday evening services due to work or family responsibilities. We are presently studying The Gospel according to St. Matthew and how the Word of God still has power in our present lives. Bible Study is also a time that individual prayers, and requests for prayer, are brought forth. There are some mornings that we literally read only a few verses because we dig deep into the very purpose and meaning of God’s Word for us by the use of lecture, quizzes, group discussion, and commentary to take home and study. Each morning has been filled with the “real” teacher (The Holy Ghost) and we tear down falsehoods, and help to build up Disciples for God. Some persons that attend are not members of Mother Church yet, but regularly attend Bible Study, and Sunday Services.
Youth Sunday School

Mission Statement
Our purpose is to build a biblically sound foundation in Christ for children of all ages through Christian education that will help develop in them a belief system that encompasses hope and commitment in Jesus Christ.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to see communities, families, and churches connected and growing by not only teaching, but spreading the gospel of Christ.
Isaiah 11:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Our team consists of four instructors. Each instructor will teach on a rotating schedule. This will allow us to attend Bible Study on the Sundays we are not teaching.
Our instructors are: Local Preacher Kathy Johnson, Sis Carolyn Martin, Bro Thomas Morrison, and Sis Keya Morrison.
